In this month’s Social Security updates, the agency has announced an up-coming forum which
will center on working to help those experiencing homelessness access SSA benefits for which
they may well be eligible.

The pellucidly titled “Homelessness: Working with Stakeholders to Improve Access to SSA
Benefits and Services Part I” will take place virtually at 1pm on September 22. The purpose of
the forum is to have a conversation with and receive feedback from any members of the public
with an interest in improving Social Security services for the homeless population.
