In their on-going push to get everyone to conduct their business without having to communicate directly with anyone at the agency, Social Security has announced a couple of tweaks to the My Social Security account.
If you receive Social Security benefits and need to let the agency know of a new address or phone number you can now either sign up or login to my Social Security | SSA and make that update on the My Profile page. You can also now make changes to your direct deposit information, should you need to do so.
SSI recipients don’t get quite the same treatment. Right now you can only update your telephone number on-line, but there is a new look to admire, at least.
