This year’s National Hispanic Heritage Month has just begun and will run until October 15 as it has done for every year since 1988. This year’s theme is ‘Building Prosperous and Health Communities” and will be celebrated with a series of symposiums, webinars, and with some lighter fare in the form of concerts and festivals. You can read all about the various activities here: National Hispanic Heritage Month | White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity for Hispanics

While there’s little that the Social Security Administration can do to join in the festivities, they have sought to celebrate the occasion by reminding everyone that we can access their Spanish-language website here www.segurosocial.gov . The agency has also made it clear that all their publications are available in Spanish. Here’s where you can see the vast array of documents Publicaciones | Administración del Seguro Social (ssa.gov)
