Social Security have been running a National Disability Forum for a number of years. It’s designed to allow anyone with an interest in the workings of the agency to give their insight and to share their experiences. Social Security tend to hold these forums around twice a year and have announced two new sessions which are scheduled to take place on September 15.

The event has been titled “Equity in SSA Programs: Hidden Barriers” and will focus on ‘Advancing Equity’ in its morning session, which will run from 10am to noon. The afternoon session, which will be take place between 1pm and 3pm will address the topic of “Equity in Claim Representation”.
