The Maryland Department of Human Services announced it will close office buildings to the public amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This announcement was posted March 18th, 2020 and offices continue to remain closed. DHS reports that it will continue to provide program services to Marylanders during these office closings. Marylanders are encouraged to go online to www.mydhrbenefits.dhr.state.md.us/dashboardClient/#/home to get information, apply for DHS programs and services, and check the status of applications. Residents may also call the DHS Call Center at 1-800-332-6347 (TTY 1-800-735-2258), available from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. The full announcement can be found here.
