The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has just published the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) guideline figures for this year. These figures, which as would be expected have increased from 2018, are used to determine eligibility for Medical Assistance through the Affordable Care Act and also set the eligibility standards for such programs as Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB) and Specified Low-Income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB).
